Abstract

The use of air-slaked lime as the main binder in the composition of dry mixes, mainly for restoration purposes, is associated with a number of negative manifestations in terms of the formation of technological and operational properties of plaster and masonry compositions. In particular, the retention time of the initial mobility of mortar mixtures and crack resistance are reduced. The slow setting and hardening of lime mortars is also considered as a technological disadvantage that limits the productivity of the work. An integrated recipe and technological approach is required to improve the efficiency of production and use of mixtures for restoration, which is currently only on the first stage of the developed. The article presents the results of studies aimed at solving these problems by modifying the composition and changing the production technology of mixtures in accordance with the principle of historicism, which implies a minimal change in the material composition, appearance and key physical and mechanical properties of classic materials.

Key words:

air-slaked lime; mechanical modification of lime, disintegrator, lime dry mixes
