Abstract

Various sources (including official statistics) have published information on the decline in gypsum production in Russia in recent years. The article provides an assessment of the gypsum consumption for the production of gypsum construction materials, which leads to the conclusion that even the crisis of 2020 did not break the long-standing global growth trend in gypsum consumption.
