[:ru]Рациональное проектирование строительных объектов предполагает минимизацию потребления энергии и ресурсов при их возведении и эксплуатации. Кроме того, бетонные конструкции должны обладать достаточной прочностью, чтобы выдерживать различные воздействия окружающей среды в течение проектируемого срока службы. На практике это означает, что в течение всего срока службы их необходимо контролировать с помощью сложных приборов, чтобы избежать дорогостоящего ремонта и, соответственно, лишней траты времени и ресурсов. Настоящая статья посвящена проблеме эффективного управления сроком службы.[:en]Sustainable structural engineering is based on the maxim that the energy and resources consumption is minimized. Hence, the durability of civil concrete structures should be sufficient to withstand the different environmental conditions during the planned service life. Therefore in practice it is necessary to monitor and to manage by means of elaborated tools the whole lifetime of a civil structure to avoid cost-intensive maintenance measures and corresponding downtimes. Against this background the role and the possibilities of an efficient lifetime management is briefly summarized.[:]
