Проведенные исследования еще раз подтверждают вывод о том, что при воздействии добавок на скорость гидратации портландцемента в начальные сроки твердения определяющим является не абсолютное количество добавок солей — ускорителей твердения, а их концентрация в жидкой фазе.[:en]We have studied the effects of chemical additives (CaCl2, CaBr2, CaI2, Ca(NO3)2, KNO3, KCl and NaCl) in the process of hydration of Portland cement. The studies were carried out by measuring the contraction of a continuous hydrostatic weighting. The subjects of study were two clinker minerals, tri-calcium aluminate (3CaO · Al2O3 or C3A) and tri-calcium silicate (3CaO · SiO2 or C3S), cement and concrete. The study of hydration kinetics of clinker minerals and Portland cement in the presence of soluble calcium salts showed that the rate of hydration depends not on the absolute amount of additive but on its concentration in the liquid phase. Normally, when using chemical additives — hardening accelerators their consumption as a percentage of cement weight is indicated. In the manufacture of concrete water-cement ratio can vary, although the cement consumption per 1 m3 of concrete remains constant. In this case, concentration of the additives in the liquid phase which in its turn can alter its effectiveness in the early stages of hardening. The dependence of efficiency of water-cement additives CaCl2 on W/C ratio has been studied. When W/C = 0.25, the samples with the addition of CaCl2 equal to 2 % by weight of the cement showed the highest strength, and at W/C = 0.3 the best supplement dosage amounts to 3 % by weight of the cement. The studies once again confirm the conclusion that when additives effect on the rate of hydration of Portland cement in the early stages of hardening, the determining factor is not an absolute quantity of salt additives — hardeners accelerators — but their concentration in the liquid phase.[:]
