[:ru]В Российской Федерации сложилась непростая ситуация с накоплением золошлаковых отходов (ЗШО) тепловых угольных электростанций в золошлакоотвалах. На 172 угольных теплоэлектростанциях (ТЭС) России сжигается в год более 123 млн т твердого топлива при его средней зольности около 20 %. Годовой выход золы и шлака от ТЭС России в среднем составляет около 25 млн т (рис. 1), а накопление ЗШО в золошлакоотвалах — около 1,5 млрд т. The 172 coal thermal power plants (TPP) burn more than 123 mln t of solid fuel per year, in which the average ash content is approximately 20 %. The average annual output of ash and slag from Russian TPP is approximately 25 mln t (Fig. 1), and the buildup of ASW in ash dumps in the Russian Federation is currently close to 1.5 bln t. At 70 % coal TPPs, the ash dumps are overfilled or close to overfilling in the near future (in four to six years).[:]
