[member][tnc-pdf-viewer-iframe file="https://alitinform.ru/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/ALITinform-N232008_41-44.pdf" width="100%" height="800" download="false" print="false" fullscreen="true" share="true" zoom="true" open="false" pagenav="true" logo="true" find="true" current_view="true" rotate="true" handtool="true" doc_prop="false" toggle_menu="true" toggle_left="true" scroll="true" spread="false" language="ru" page="" default_zoom="" pagemode="" iframe_title="" default_scroll="0" default_spread="0"][/member][:en]Petroleum coke is a byproduct of the fuel oil refinement into the engine oil. Having analyzed all available kinds of alternative fuel authors came to the conclusion that it possesses the best properties to meet consumers demands. All the advantages of the petroleum coke used in cement and lime production have been considered. Petroleum coke attracts specialists’ attention as a perspective technological fuel for manufacture of binding materials, such as cement, lime and plaster-stone. At present the substantial amount of these materials in our country is being manufactured with the use of natural gas. Due to its low cost it is possible to organize the technological process with minimum expenses required to prepare the fuel for burning and with heat conduction high efficiency. The use of gas fuel for construction materials production abroad is quite limited, because natural gas cost is substantially higher than that of other kinds of fuel. So, in Japan the ratio between different kinds of technological fuels used for cement production is as follows: fuel oil — 3.0%, coal — 84.5%, petroleum coke — 12.5%. Solid fuel is widely used in cement manufacture in the USA and Europe. It is not improbable that in the nearest future petroleum coke will occupy the leading position as a technological fuel in many countries, which develop cement manufacture. This assertion is associated with the tendency to provide maximum manufacture of engine fuel from raw materials, that is achieved by additional thermal breakdown of residual black stock. Engine fuel is the main product of fuel oil coking while petroleum coke is a byproduct. Petroleum coke is widely used as a raw material in manufacture of electrodes for electric-arc furnaces. Its use in this process is limited with sulphur content. Unfortunately, these are petroleum coke sulphuric compounds which form the significant part in the total yield, because low-sulphur oils are comparatively rare in our country.[:]
