Unfavorable conditions in residential, work and hospital buildings arise with biodeterioration to buildings by microbe biodestructors. Accordingly, people themselves are not only the creators of their own living environment, but also its victims. Mycoses and mycetogenic allergy under the influence of biodestructors are new diseases that accompany the development of civilization and the progress of medical science. They arise in an ecological cell that consists of an apartment, barracks, office or hospital ward. The growth of colonies of micro-organisms in this anthropogenic ecosystem involves its transformation into a center of infection [1]. Any building, during the period of building and over the course of maintenance, is subject to unfavorable atmospheric, temperature, chemical, vibration and biological effects. Biodamage, and in many cases also destruction of buildings or their individual parts, is caused by soil microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, microscopic algae), and self-sown grasses, bushes and trees, if they grow in direct proximity to buildings or on the buildings themselves. From the example of microscopic fungi, one can track the process of microbe pollution of surfaces of a building and the construction materials themselves. Live spores of mold fungi enter buildings through windows, doors, and ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Permanent pollution of residential or office areas by mold fungi spores from the atmospheric air do not present a serious danger to humans, as they can be easily removed by usual cleaning methods and in some cases by using anti-microbe agents. A real danger of fungal diseases for human is formed in conditions of the biodeterioration of a building, when colonies of mold fungi arise in the mass of building materials. Each cell of the mold fungi is a colony-forming unit (CFU). Over 24 hours, the total amount of all generations of a single old fungi cell may come to tens of millions of new cells, but only in conditions that are favorable for fungi (presence of a nutrition environment, optimal combination of temperature and moisture for fungi). Increased moisture in the building may be caused by a damaged roof, disruption in hydroisolation from the foundation and basement, disrupted water drains (wetting of walls), all types of malfunctions of water communications inside the building (water pipes, plumbing), lack or insufficiency of ventilation of the building or separate rooms. Besides the increased moisture, biodestruction of materials is assisted by certain components that represent a nutrition environment for microbes. Also of significance is the use of materials infected with biodestructors in construction of buildings, pollution of the surface of building materials of domestic and industrial dust, damage to their surface (cracks, strained condition of a structure etc.), anti-sanitary conditions in utility rooms used etc. Fungal spores enter the mass of construction materials together with water through pores and cracks. Products of life activity of colonies of fungi change the environment in the material, and this enables its chemical transformation. For example, fungi of the species Аspergillus, Penicillium, Trichoderma are capable of using bitumen hydrocarbons in asphalt concrete as a source of carbon. In these conditions, concrete loses it cohesive properties, and the substances that form from it occupy a greater volume than the original material. This leads to the fracturing of concrete and deterioration of entire structures made from it.[:]
