Abstract

In our country road coverings have been made from asphalt concrete. But asphalt concrete has relative low durability (<5 years). It is necessary to repair road coverings already after 2–3 years. Substitution of asphalt concrete for cement road concrete is the effective alternation. Durability of cement concrete in many times exceeds durability of asphalt concrete and life of cement road concrete is not less 25 years. Any cement concrete plants could easy set up production of road concrete for construction of regional roads and good order of territories. In this case in some regions there are different kinds of waste products that could be utilized as aggregates in this concrete. This article is devoted to investigation of main properties of poured concrete for road covering with using wastes of concrete breaks such as gravel, sand and finely pulverized filler.
