Abstract
The article discusses the possibility of improving the quality of alumina cement. Based on the thermodynamic analysis of the reactions of the formation of minerals in the system of oxides of aluminum, calcium, silicon and iron, chemical compounds have been selected that can prevent or reduce the possibility of the formation of gehlenite and thereby increase the strength of the hardening alumina cement.
