Abstract
The purpose of the work is to study the effect of the form and dispersion of siliceous components on their activity in gypsum cement composite environment. The research was performed using a well-known method in view of the special features of the materials that were subjected to mechanic and chemical activation. The study showed that some siliceous materials can be used in composite binders in 1:1 or 1:2 material/cement ratio, whereas less active ones can only be used in composite gypsum binders together with highly active silica fume. As a result of the research, the ratios of the organic and mineral modifier components were found that ensure the stability and durability of gypsum cement and siliceous binders and their water resistance.
