Abstract

According to the authors, the operational control of the quality of industrial clinkers considering their microstructure, if conducted, is not always permanent on most plants. It seems necessary to give importance to the petrographic methods as a tool to assess the performance of making the raw mix process (chemical composition at a rate of saturation and other modules, averaging the optimum grinding), as well as the quality of burning and fuel consumption for the production of clinker. At the time, it was mentioned by O. M. Astreeva (Institute “NIIcement”) [1].

Key words:

microstructure of industrial clinkers; production methods and equipment; fuel and energy consumption; cement and clinker quality
