Abstract

The global cement industry in 2015 has been dominated by the merger between multinational companies Lafarge and Holcim and the forthcoming acquisition of Italcementi by HeidelbergCement. Global Cement presents the effects of these mergers on the global cement industry as part of a global overview of the cement industry examining cement production, key markets and major worldwide companies.
