Abstract

The article covers the possibility of using Ultra High Performance Concrete in transport constructions, that have special requirements for building material. The main differences between high-strength concrete and normal strength concrete are defined and analyzed. The possible scope of application of high-strength concrete are indicated. The article performs features of specific examples of structures that were built in different parts of the world, and technological characteristics of this process are given here.

Key words:

high performance concrete; compression strength; pseudoplastic behaviour; transport constructions; lifecycle cost
