Abstract

The article presents data on lime production volumes and structure in Russia for years 2000–2010; on major lime production plants; on lime prices and on lime consumption by various industries. The impact of the economic crisis of 2008 on the main market indicators and the main features of its post-crisis development are analyzed. Forecast of lime production in Russia in the near future is provided.
