Abstract

The effect of cellulose nanofibrils on the rheological and mechanical characteristics of cement-sand composites has been studied. Tables and graphs are presented and the results of experimental studies of the effect of nanofibrillar cellulose on the structure and performance properties of the cement-sand mixture and mortars are presented. Based on the results of the experiments and analysis of the data obtained, a conclusion was made about the technical effectiveness of the use of cellulose nanofibers in cement-sand composites. It has been established that the introduction of a nanocellulose suspension at a concentration of 0.45·10-4% by volume improves the compressive and bending strength, reduces shrinkage and increases the frost resistance of nanomodified cement-sand samples.
