Abstract

This paper presents the estimation of rate and features of the corrosion protective layer of concrete as well as the presence and characteristics of corrosion in rebars of the reinforced concrete structures of fresh water tanks that have been in operation for a long time. Also included are results obtained during the study of concrete and rebar samples as well as the description of the study. A durability forecast for concrete constructions is compiled based on the results and the possible ways for repairing the tanks are proposed.
