ANTI-FREEZE ADDITIVES FOR CONCRETE TRANSPORT STRUCTURES

Abstract
The results of the studies on the development of complex anti-freeze additives for concrete, intended for cold-weather concreting without heating of the reinforced concrete transport structures, are presented herein. A number of such additives has been created, which makes it possible to keep rapid race of cold-weather concreting of the reinforced concrete transport structures without heating.
The developed complex anti-freeze additives allow concreting without heating at temperatures of 18–25 °C below zero. The advantages of the concretes with such additives include the ability to increase quality, strength, crack resistance and workability, as well as to reduce cement consumption.
