Abstract

One of the labor-intensive technological conversion of precast concrete structures production in the construction industry is the unloading of cement from railway cars (hoppers) in warehouses and its conveying to concrete mixing units.
The use of pneumatic cement pumps in most of the warehouses for pneumatic conveying often disrupts the rhythmic work of the warehouses, mainly due to the rapid wear of а screw and а pump of a sleeve, which leads to a decrease in the performance of the latter, and the high energy intensity of the pneumatic screw pumps leads to additional costs.
The elimination of these drawbacks is most advisable by replacing the pneumatic screw pumps with chamber pumps.
