Abstract
This article presents an overview of raw materials activation and preparation methods in the manufacture of dry building materials. The main processes taking place during activation of materials have been briefly described. Effectiveness of various methods has been identified. Classification of mixing facilities based on Froude criterion is presented together with description of processes during mixer operations as well as the description of experimental evaluation of the effectiveness of the methods listed in the article.
