Abstract

In this paper, new additives that increase frost resistance of concrete and have no negative impact on other concrete properties have been developed. Special additive materials, which initially have a large number of conditionally closed pores in their structure, were proposed and investigated to increase the frost resistance of concrete based on dry mixtures. Such substances may be by-products of wood processing such as woodcutter shavings and wood powder, as well as light fine-porous spherical ceramic pellets.
