Abstract

The article investigates cement production process: from raw material (limestone) to end-product considering modern technologies allowing to reduce energy consumption of the production process and optimize quality of produced cement. In this context, a successful German experience is shown in terms of creation of a cement plant of the future. The used innovative solutions allow for the cement plant the highly flexible adaptation to the future demands for cement products and dry mortar.
