Abstract
The results of studies of the effect of plasticizing and micro-reinforcing additives on the properties of cement based foam concrete mix and foam concrete of natural hardening are given in this article. It has been proposed to increase the quality of the concrete mix and hardened foam concrete by selectively affecting the cement matrix with the combined additive Relamix T2 and basalt fiber in the amount of 0.5 and 0.4 % of the cement mass, respectively. This increases the aggregative stability and reduces the plastic shrinkage of the foam concrete mix by 11 %.
In foam concrete with the combined additive, the content of closed pores increases from 22.7 to 44.9 %, the volume of open noncapillary pores decreases from 34.5 to 15.2 % and thermal conductivity by 6 %, the class of foam concrete in compressive strength rises from B1 to B2 while maintaining the average density of D500.
The developed composition of cement based foam concrete is recommended for constructing monolithic walls at a construction site or wall blocks in factory conditions for individual housing construction.
