Abstract

Residential properties of the Republic of Belarus consume about 35–40 % of the country’s energy resources. In this context, works aimed at the reduction of energy consumption for heating and hot water supply have great national economic significance for the Republic of Belarus. In Western Europe countries, which are also engaged in an intensive search of ways to reduce energy consumption during maintenance of residential buildings, transition to construction of buildings corresponding to the standard “Passive house” is practiced, under which the level of heat losses accounts for 10–20 % of total current existing level [1, 2]. The results of studies which are reported [3, 4], enable to formulate the requirements for the design and engineering systems of energy-efficient buildings, taking into account the structure of the residential properties and climatic conditions of the Republic of Belarus.

Key words:

energy-efficient buildings; heat consumption; energy saving
