DETERMINING THE CHARACTER OF THE INFLUENCE OF THE AGGREGATE GRAINS SMEARING THICKNESS ON THE MOBILITY OF THE SOLUTION COMPONENT OF CONCRETE MIXES

The paper presents the results of measuring the diameter of the cone flow of a cement-sand mortar with different grains smearing thicknesses of aggregate with cement paste. The packing density model of the aggregate mixture was used to calculate the smearing thickness. A mixture of two fractions was used as an aggregate. The grain size of the fractions was experimentally selected so that the coefficients of sliding and loosening were minimal. In order to interpret the experimental values, a functional dependence of the cone flow diameter (cone slump) on the smearing thickness of aggregate grains is proposed. The coefficients of the functional dependence are described in a visual form and can easily be determined in the presence of several experimental values of the cone slump diameter. The results are summarized in the final part of the work in the form of triple phase diagrams, describing how the ratio of component consumption affects the properties of cement-sand mortar.
