Abstract

Initially they were large semi-panel walls (buildings in the Dachny and Avtovo districts) and panel walls («Ships» of series 1 N-600). Since the second half of the 1990s, at the same time as the development of single-piece building construction, small aerated concrete blocks were increasingly used. The laying of aerated concrete blocks used with floor-by-floor support, (Fig. 1), and the construction solutions in which this laying is used will be discussed below.

At present, the experience of using aerated concrete masonry in frame buildings can be systematized. Mistakes that accompany the first tests (and are sometimes almost repeated because of insufficient feedback in the planner — builder — maintenance expert chain), may be exhaustively described, and corrective measures are recommended for the vast majority of them.
