Abstract

It is well known that the quality of drilling and cementing is measured in the final analysis by the satisfactory realization of the parameter of hydraulic isolation. In order to be able to accommodate the reservoir forces which arise in this connection as well as the stress generated during production in the best possible way through the cementing system, the slurry design, displacement- and placement techniques must be right.
The design of the slurry with regard to the variables viscosity, kinetics and density is carried out for preference by applying the system-logic of “basic-filling-adjustment”.
