Abstract
In this article, we examine new directions for obtaining materials and items included in the formation of nano-, micro- or macro-shells of dry or wet substances at dispersal particles or grains of various origin with the obtaining of new qualities in composite materials and items. We examine the features of the directed creation of nano-capsules on dispersions of cement and pigments, micro-shells on particles of mineral and wood fillers with obtaining of super-filled plastics, and also creating macro-capsules on the surface of grainy and macadam materials. We give examples of effective use of a new approach to obtain high-quality cements, shell pigments, super-filled plastics with decorative dispersions and macadam, light macro-porous concretes, and give information about the industrial realization of new technologies at factories and building sites.
The creation of composite materials usually involves combining different materials in a single structure, which gains new qualities and improves the characteristics of materials and items.
Capsulation, a new direction for obtaining composite materials developed by «Moscow IMET», is one of the most promising energy-saving approaches in the creation of effective materials and items with these qualities.
Capsulated composite material is a grouted or dispersive conglomerate, the main structure-forming element of which is the particle (core) of the material, which is covered with some other substance of a different nature.
