Abstract

Active mineral additives, injected into the cement usually during the clinker grinding, are widely used at plants on the territory of the Russian Federation (as well as the former USSR) and also in foreign countries. Mineral additives used in Russia are notable for the variety and range of their chemical and phase-structural characteristics. For this reason it may be necessary to formulate and standardize a more universal and reliable method for the determination of the activity of the mineral additives injected into the cement composition.
