Abstract
On the basis of experience obtained in the process of construction, commissioning and operation at cement plants using the dry process in Karaganda (Kazakhstan), Lipetsk and Slantsy (Russia) and Belapatfalva (Hungary), authors have tried to set forth arguments in favour of increasing production of cement (which is one of major materials which are strategically important for economic development of the country), by the erection of powerful production facilities using dry process of cement production, as being the most fuel and energy efficient
