Abstract
The article presents a study of the change in the Z-potential of Portland cement in the presence of a superplasticizer and complex mineral additive. Taking into account the fact that the rate of cement hydration and the effectiveness of additives are sensitive to temperature changes, studies of the change in the Z-potential in the temperature range from + 5 °С to + 25 °С were carried out. The relationship between the Z-potential and the degree of hydration in the initial period of hardening has been established.
Key words:
Portland cement, zeta potential, additives, plasticizers
