Abstract

High-strength modified macro synthetic fibre can effectively improve toughness and durability of concrete, thus replacing steel mesh and steel fibre, reducing material and labour cost. The high-strength modified macro synthetic fibre has been widely used in China, America and Europe, where there are many mature testing standards, design standards and third-party testing companies. This paper reviewed the study and application of the high-strength modified macro synthetic fibre in structural reinforcement, industrial floor and concrete road, shotcrete and precast elements.
