Abstract

The presentation will look at the major trends that have been shaping the global cement industry over the past several decades: the decline of the overall markets in the developed countries as well as the rise of local cement powerhouses in developing countries. Besides, the article analyzes current tendencies in the Chinese industry and their possible influence on the future situation. General conclusion of the investigation is that the forecasts of the future industry structure will be based on these trends.
