Abstract
Over the last 10-15 yeas, there has been a drastic increase in volumes of various structural elements of transport structures built from monolithic concrete, and also volumes of reconstruction and repair of objects of assembly reinforced concrete. Ensuring the required consumer qualities of new, reconstructed and repaired existing objects has required modern approaches to development effective technologies of repair work on the basis of using modern materials that satisfy requirements of clients and requirements of maintenance of various types of transport structures.
Essentially, repair works are carried out both at the stage of building objects, and during their maintenance. At the stage of building structural elements, elimination of defects is usually carried out that were made during construction, and also treatment of cracks. At the maintenance stage, various types of repairs are carried out, including repairs connected with restoring and increasing the bearing capacity of individual structures or the building as a whole.
In all cases, repairs should be carried out with high quality, with a guarantee of established longevity and length of inter-repair schedules. Experience shows that this can be achieved only on condition of knowledge and correct calculation of the physical-technical bases of ensuring required quality of works, or in other words in ensuring the organizational and technical side of the issue on the one hand, and a correct choice of materials and technology of work for repair, taking into account the features of interaction of repair material with what is being repaired on the other.
Carrying out works at all stages of the investment cycle should be regulated by general rules within the framework of certain normative technical documents.
