This year, there were seven exhibit groups on the Building and Landscaping 2015 exhibition
including building and finishing materials and equipment; climate systems; heat, gas, and water supply; power supply and electrical equipment; special equipment, materials, and technologies for road and tunnel construction; everything for country house building and landscape design; interior and exterior design and decorations; ecology and safety.
The participating companies presented a broad range of decorative, building, and finishing materials, elements of landscaping, electrical and light technology products, wood and wood / aluminum windows, water treatment facilities, and hydraulic insulation materials. In addition, the exhibitors offered houses from Siberian cedar and Angara pine, playgrounds, and sports and play systems for children. Visitors and guests were especially interested in the exhibits of the MoyDomSochi.RF company with water treatment facilities and wastewater treatment equipment.
For the building industry professionals, the key event was the roundtable discussion entitled Construction and Urban Economy of Sochi: Challenges of the Time, Objectives, and Ways of Solution. Of special interest there were the presentations of delegates of the Building Department of the Sochi City Administration, the Economics and Strategic Development Department of Sochi City, and the Architecture, Urban Planning, and Landscaping Department of Sochi City on the promising areas of development for the building industry and the city economy in the light of the Sochi city development programs covering a period until 2017.
Another event was a conference entitled Raising Profits in the Building Business despite the Crisis. The main presentation was by Alexey Serbul, Director of Internet-Kommersant LLC. Natalia Revo, Marketing and PR Manager at HeadHunter, presented an overview of the labor market in the building sector. The role of 2Gis for the business was also discussed.
One more important event of the business program was the roundtable discussion with delegates of major building companies, repair and maintenance companies, and trade companies entitled Raising the Prevention Culture in Occupational Safety. The discussion was organized by the Sochi Employment Center, a state institution of the Krasnodar Kray.
The exhibition included the best architectural projects from the ARKHRAZREZ 2015 competition, which have been or are being implemented in real life.
The exhibition has once again proven its significance and timeliness among industry events in the Krasnodar Kray as a demonstration site for experience, innovations, and modern technologies and equipment.
